12:55 pm - NYC GN portraits by Seth Kushner

Miss and I spent yesterday morning sitting for Seth Kushner, as part of his NYC Graphic Novelists project. Seth is an amazing photographer, and all of the pieces he's shot so far for this project are mind-blowing.

You know you have nothing better to do tonight. Well, nothing that involves music and drinking anyway.

Apologies to everyone who commented last week. My LJ notifications were apparently on the fritz (as was my brain, so it seems), and I just discovered the comments there today. Many thanks to all.
Also, please check out this month's Zuda competition, particularly Sam and Lilah by Chemistry Set vets Jim Dougan and Hyeondo Park. These guys are great and need your support.

12:52 pm - The apparrel industry is at it again...
Jess Fink had her t-shirt design stolen by - surprise - Hot Topic. I wonder if Todd Goldman was behind this one, too?
If you're going to rip something off, at least put in a moderate effort to change it. At the very least, don't make it lamer. That's almost more insulting.
Sheesh.
